To mark the launch of its special, Worldwide Favourites Menu in the US, McDonald’s does something extra special. McDonald’s is set to accept foreign currency from its customers only on this Thursday, on June 6th, between 2 PM and 5 PM local time only.
However, a point to be noted here is that the deal is only good at four products on the menu. Furthermore, it is also limited to one piece of foreign cash to one customer. Also, the deal is only good at participating restaurants.
The products available for this particular the deal is the Cheesy Bacon Fries Australia, the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain, the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands and the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich from Canada.
Owner and operators have full discretion as to what to do with the foreign currency received from the deal. As per the company, they said that if they have some foreign currency laying at their homes or in their fanny packs, they can make use of the currency at McDonald’s in the US. All types of foreign currency are being accepted.
The various types of meals and products available on the deals are served in a different form. The McDonald’s International Currency Exchange promo was done by McDonald’s to encourage people to come out and try international food items.
All the items available on the deal are bestsellers from their respective countries. On this deal, director of communications Molly McKenna said, “This event provides our customers with a unique deal which allows our customers to find international experiences without hopping on a plane. This is something that only we, as a brand, can do.”
